How can you really be prepared for emergencies unless you REALLY know exactly what you're preparing for?!  (You'd be surprised at how many people think they know what they're preparing for, but they really don't.)

In this section, we take you through an exercise to pinpoint which top 3 to 5 (out of 20) emergency situations you and your family should be preparing for the most, and then make it clear what you should do before, during, and after each of those situations, so you're not taking unnecessary chances.

There are several emergency situations (like house fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, riots, etc.) where preparedness for the first few seconds up to the first few days is the difference between life and death. You need to know what to do during these times to save you and your family.

In this section, you'll learn how to put together home, car, work, and school kits, as well as house fire kits, and we also train you how to create and practice your emergency plans so you and your loved ones will know how to calmly act during sudden a crisis.

The food step is so important that it's broken into 4 subsections.

You'll first learn about short-term food storage - what foods to get from the supermarket, how much to store, and how to rotate them.

Part two explains long-term food storage and how to pick the foods that will actually last 25-30 years on a shelf.

Part three teaches you how to grow and collect additional food when stores are empty and you need to replenish your supply. 

And, finally we get into ways to preserve food that you grow or collect so that it won't rot if your electricity is cut off and you can't rely on refrigeration.

When your core basic needs (like food and water) are met, there are a number of other priorities in preparedness you should be aware of if the utilities are cut off or if you need to evacuate your home.  You'll want to know what these are and the skills that go along with them.

In this section we cover maintaining body temperatures, alternative shelters, fuels to store, lighting, power, first aid, alternative transportation, communication, sanitation, hygiene, disposal, self-defense and safety, how to maintain social engagement, and more.
